Stupid question

I know this might sound stupid to some, but I curious to know what a Kalkwasser is? Is it some sort of chemical supplement you buy from your LFS to increase coralline growth?

Kalkwasser is a powder that when added to water makes "limewater" or calcium hydroxide. It is one of the best balanced additives you can use. As far as coralline growth is concerned, there is no magic bullet or perfect additive. It's simpley a matter of keeping the chem with NSW values with the appropriate light and water flow.
