substrate for caulerpa or turtle grass

is it possible for me to grow caulerpa/turtle grass in a tank that has crushed coral as the substrate? thanks

I don't know about turtle grass, but it is very possible with the caulerpa. I won't go into all the warnings on caulerpa just in case you have heard them all. If not, just let me know

thanks....ya ive heard about all the warnings with caulerpa, but i was planing to get the razor caulerpa and if i read it right they dont go sexual as much as the grape caulerpa. please fill me in if i am wrong. i like the look and i would like to put it in my main tank. i also have alot cheatamorpha in my refuge if that helps.

I keep grape calerpa in my fuge but I keep it pruned by putting a softball size pirce in my main for the tangs and I keep my fuge lights on 24/7. Hopefully that`s enough to keep it from going Sexual. Wait a minute , I hear some ticking. LOL
