Substrate... Good price?

25 lbs of live sand for $40 with shipping? Good or bad?

Not bad. Where is it coming from? What type is it? The "live sand" you can buy off of the shelf in a plastic bag at the LFS is really over-priced, wet dead sand.

Well, it says this:
Premium Grade Live Reef Sugar Size Sand
This sand comes from our Fiji supplier
We ship the sand packed with oxygen, inside an insulated box, this helps the sand stay in it's cured, live state during shipping

And it comes with shipping. Is this good stuff?

That sounds to me like real live sand. Not the prepackaged stuff they play off as live sand which is what I believe lando was referring too. I'd say that is a great price with shipping included.
