Suction Cups

How can we make these things work ? Seems like after a couple months whether it be your powerheads our your heaters the suction cups no longer want to work. I run them under hot water, clean them off, even ran them in a 50 50 mix of vinager and water and the darn things still dont want to stick well.

What do you guys do to avoid this?

Use super glue XD I either toss suction cups and find another way to support them, purchase new ones, or use another brand of better suctioning suction cups.

Ditch the suction cups and go with magnets. They make magnetic holders for powerheads like MaxiJets and the like, and these can also be modified to hold heaters. (I hotglued my heater holder onto one.) ZooMed also makes little magnetic clips for heaters. These are a fairly recent thing out there.
