Sump

Hi all I want to put a sump tank on my set up can someone or has anyone got any good plans for a sump as I'm going to make own sump from a old tank I have. Thanks

go to youtube and type in "DIY aquarium sump" the first video, by livid reef is a great walkthrough that i found

I have been looking at YouTube do you think that is a good way to make a sump it only that I have never had a sump with my tank

I dont think you can go wrong with a sump

see heres the thing you dont really NEED a sump they are plenty beneficial but its really your choice it does add water volume you can put some equipment like the heater in there and a skimmer etc

post pics as it goes along. since you already have water in that tank, id go with an overflow, instead of drilling
