Sump Diagram Update

Mike, and everyone else,

Glad you have had this discussion, as I am looking to do something very similar. One question, I see that you mentioned in your diagram, that you intend to do microalgae and mangrove in the fuge. If you go significantly higher on your tank, to 11 or 12", will you still be able to do mangrove? I think that all of the fuges with mangrove I've seen have been fairly shallow.

So will having a deeper and more narrow fuge allow that?

I certainly hope so, 'cause I'd like to do the same.

Hi David. The Mangroves was just a thought, but I definitely want to grow some macro algae in there, as well as pods. I posted a new drawing of my sump in the General Discussion area once again for comments.
