I only have about 1-2 inches of sand in my main tank (a 75g) and don't really want anymore in the main tank.

My sump is a 35g rubbermaid. Is it feasible to have a DSB in the sump, or is it really not worth it?

How much room do you have in there? IMO not worth it.... If your looking to help with nutrient export add some LR rubble and some caluerpa or macro algae.

Plus, if it's gravity fed, you'd have a heck of a time keeping the substrate from blowing all over and getting sucked up in your pump.
