Super Clean Up

Whew! Did a major clean up today. I replaced 20G of water from my 55G reef. I pre-made 20G a couple of days ago. Calcium and buffer adjusted, temp controlled. I cleaned up all of my HOB filters with a tooth brush. I took them apart and cleaned them part by part.

I took my Prizm skimmer apart and cleaned it.

I took one of my powerheads and blew away all the detrius I can possibly blow away.

I siphoned the sand.

The whole process took me from 10:30PM to 2AM

If I only use my toothbrush to myself the same way I use a toothrbush to my fish tank, my Momma would be proud of me.

Pics coming shortly.

I just pulled my 5gal hang-on fuge, dumped the sand bed (it was crashing, very anaerobic).

my corals are suddenly happy after several months of barely opening up.
