Do you guys think I should broadcast feed my zoas and hammer coral twice a week with reef roids? Is this necessary? They're thriving so far without... Any down side to feeding?

Downside is you would be adding nutrients tot he water which can result inhigher nitrates and algae. :-(

Those corals are doing fine and I would just keep on doing what you are doing if they look good and healthy.

I have never target fed my hammer in fifteen years and its the size of a volleyball. All they need is the lighting and water column.

Right. the odds that your corals are going to benefit from the broadcast feeding are slim. Just watch when you squirt some in.....see if the polyps actually close up on it. They will not. Not a single one. They do absorb nutrients through their flesh, but they are already doing this from the food you feed the fish, and in turn is pooped out and hits the water column.

You are just polluting the water.

Thanks everyone!! I really appreciate it!!! This is the best forum ever...
