Steve,

Each time I click on "hyposalinity", I get an error message & it sends a report to microsoft. What is hyposalinity? I did a search on this forum & everyone talks about it, but I haven't been able to find out exactly what it is.

What brand name antibiotic do you recommend?

I really appreciate your patience. I just want to save my fish.

Hyposalinity is a treatment that slowly lowers the salinity of the QT water to 14 ppt.
Try copy/paste the link into your browser instead.

In the event it is needed, Furacyn by aquatronics would work well.

Cheers

I bought fresh garlic & peas. I also tested the water in the QT:

Ammonia .4
Nitrite 0
Ph 8.2
Nitrate 0

I know the Ammonia should be 0, but is the Ph o.k.?

A water change will take care of the ammonia but the ph is fine.
