Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to supplement food for my yellow tang. I don't think I can soak the seaweed sheets with selcon prior to putting them in and I don't really trust the drop it right into the tank method.

I personally dont think you need to soak the dried seaweed. It has plenty of vitamin C that they need. Get a clip and stick it on the glass and they`ll feed off of it there.

Ok, thanks alot!!! Great advice as always!

mtlion, once a month I soak my Nori (black sheet seaweed) with a vitamin sub. and my yellow tang and clowns love it. I also use a feeder clip like Mike. I use the clip with the plastic mesh otherwise my Gobies gooble it all up. :)

Doesn't the nori get all soggy and break apart from soaking it?

Don't soak the whole thing. Just put a drop here and there. the vitamins are so concentrated that only a few drops are needed.

Here is a photo of my tang and the clip.
