Switching water source/adjusting Ph

So Ive been using tap water in my 55 fowlr for 3 months (I know) but now im getting my RO water from EarthFare. My question is: Am I adjusting to water right?

The Ph in the water Ive been using and the Ph in the new RO water is very different. Im changing 10gallons of water (slowly with a small water pump running the water into the tank through air tube) at about 5 gallons per 45 minutes. Then in a few days im going to do this again, and again, and again. This way I dont kill off my livestock.

Does this sound like im doing it right or no?

That sounds fine. The salt mix and using the pump to circulate the water to get it mixed up will put the ph where it needs to be.
