T5 lights

I am upgrading my current lighting...hoping for corals in the next few months. I have a basic led strip that is not reef capable...came with the set up. One of my live rocks came with quite a few Kenya Tree corals. I was wondering if I should start up the new lights slowly or if I can just use them as I have been using the leds. I don't want to fry the Kenya tree!

It's pretty hard to kill Kenya tree coral.LOL you can put a few layers of window screen and remove one layer a week That should do it.
