I had quite the outbreak of aiptasia in my 120g during the cycle. As part of the CUC after the cycle I bought 3 peppermint shrimp and within about 5 days there were none left in the DT. I have a few in my sump/refugium but they don't come up to the DT...or if they do my gang of 3 takes care of it. I've just found that you have to make sure you get peppermint shrimp and not the camel back that looks similar.

Good luck...Steve

The tang is an herbivore. Hopefully you will be able to upgrade to a larger tank this is what I found on the tang Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Yellow Belly Regal Blue Tang a stress related disease you might want to read up on is LLD (lateral line disease).

Everything I put into my tank is pre mixed or ready( pre made water, premium live rock, etc...) plus I have my own R/O unit so great water at all times = healthy fish
