I was asking cuz I have a sweet sump/refugium that keeps my nitrates super low so I don't do water changes very after because everything is stable

We'd need way more info about your system to tell you if you need to dose.
Corals both type and amount, params, daily consumption of elements, lighting, etc.

Wc's are also for more than just nutrient removal, they also help replenish countless elements required in reefs.

Monitor alk, calcium and magnesium daily every day and see how much you lose. This will tell you how much you need to dose.

Dose with a product called fuel it works wonders I've been using it for four years and had only positives. My GSP was only a quarter inch and in a year it's turned into this and I've spilt the colony up multiple times. Before using FUEL it did not grow as fast at all. My corals love the stuff ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1417926472.665033.jpg
