Tank Too Warm?

Well, the tank is all setup and running now, But i cant get the tank to drop below 80 degrees. I tried turning off all the power heads, but no luck. Do you think ambient temperature could really keep it that high?

I keep my tank at 80 degrees, what you are looking for a stability, if you can keep your tank at that temp. constant then you should not worry at all.

i know atlot of ppl on here came their tanks at a stable 81-82

Yup, my tanks runs between 80-82F. Nothing wrong with the water temp in this range.
