tank upgrades???

Hello everyone,

I new to this forum and saltwater forums in general. I have a 55 gal FOWLR hexagonal tank. It has been running for 2.5 years well establised. I currently have 1 maroon clown 1 longnose butterfly 1 flame angel 1 straberry gobie and 1 blue devil damsel. I have the aqua remora protien skimmer and a penguin 1500 pump the lighting is standard power glo and marine glo just the 2 bulbs. My question is: what am i missing what can i do to maximize my tanks potential? Thanks for the advise

Welcome to AA . I also say go with corals but you`ll need to upgrade your lighting. Nothing like a reef tank. Is this a FO or FOWLR tank.

How about 1.5-2Lbs of LR per gallon, that will help with biofiltration.
