I was keeping my saltwater tank at 78 degrees, though now I am told that temp is too high, and encourages parasites to thrive. I dropped it to 75 ...

any thoughts?

I run mine at 78 degrees...no problems.

I run mine at 80. Pretty much without a heater it stays at 80 from the pumps and lights.

I run mine from 78-84...just varies on the temp outside...most of the time its at 80-82 and no problems for 2 years...

When I had mine it was just like fishman's: 78-84

I would say that 75 is a bit too low.. 78-82 is the normal range.
