Testing Supplies Advice

Does anyone have any experience with electronic test equipment? I was about to order some new testing supplies when I saw these two gadgets at Drs Foster & Smith that looked kinda neat. They have a Hanna Instruments pHep4 that measures ph and temperature and a DIST5 that measures conductivity, TDS, and temperature. Are these things any good or should I stick with my usual supplies?
