That was amusing...Mantis tale

I'm just sitting here browsing my favourite discussion group ...when I hear "clack", "clack" coming from the living room. The living room where the mantis lives is 3 rooms and 1/2 a house away..

So I dash in there to see what the fuss is about and a small spider has decided to walk across the front of the tank glass and the mantis is attacking the glass for all he's worth!

While amusing, I decided that I wasn't sure how much more the tank could take so I got rid of the spider before I took a picture.

You know...if you had a really large mantis that's all it would take and you might have a flood on your hands.

I'm very glad that I kept my mantis. He's no end of entertainment!

I've also learned that you don't place your finger on the glass of the mantis tank... 8O

I just swapped one of my Mantis shrimp for 5 frags yesterday. I had 2 and they were just to noisy for me. I may be ridding myself of the other one pretty soon.

8O Maybe you should find an acylic tank.
Cool story though. Should have grabbed the video, animal planet loves stuff like that.
