Yeah thats what I was thinking.
I just saw this package thing on this thread: http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f14/75g-reef-build-122038-7.html

And I took a look. For my tank size it recommends:
20 Nassarius Snails
12 Nerite Snails
12 Blue/White Legged Hermits
5 Scarlet Hermits
1 Porcelain Crab
1 Emerald Crab

Thoughts? Comments? I personally think it's an interesting thought and am considering asking my LFS for exactly that. (Can't order it of course. )

That's way too many crabs for your size tank. Personally, I wouldn't have more than one hermit in your size tank. Nerites are OK, but you really want some better algae grazers. If you can't go with astrea or trochus, then I'd go with your original plan of turbos before I got the package you quoted here, and just replace the turbos with smaller ones when they get too big.

Like Kurt says that's the plan. That many hermits and you are asking for trouble.

8-10 Snails

I would go for like 3 hermits and 6-7 snails that's JMO.
