Thoughts on This Sponge?

Hey you all, any ideas on this sponge? A buddy of mine told me it was harmless. I do enjoy it's look, but it seems to be growing pretty quick and it's almost touching the Hollywood Stunner.. The Stunner was given to me by a local member because it wasn't doing to well in his aquarium. Any thoughts? Maybe, trim the sponge or move the Stunner?

I have sponge all over my tank ,even if you cut it back there is no guarantee it will grow the direction you want it to, so all in all it's a 50/50 chance of what you want to do about it , sponge looks neat but if it came between sponge or coral I would choose the coral over sponge

They're harmless just don't let them overgrown stuff
