So i got a free tiger cowrie thats 2"-3" in size. Its really cool looking. I have sps and zoas. Are they reef safe? Any info very much appreciated!

What classifies a soft coral? Sps and polyps? Or just leathers and kenyas and such?

my experience have been with polyps...namely clove polyps I know I had a tiger cowrie and a sea hare that ate these, I got rid of them before they had a chance at my other polyps but my clove polyp was the biggest softie I had at the time and I seen them actually eating it.....

I have a tiger cowrie in my 40b reef he never once left the sand bed yet
they are listed reef safe but with caution

Ill probably get rid of it even though it is really cool looking. I really like my zoas and plan to keep them! Ill just let him hang out in the sump for now.
