Wow! That's an awesome tank! Just wondering, how much time did it take you to set it up?

Do you want to pile up the rock on both ends? I did that and it was a pretty cool affect. It is called "flanking columns". What I did with mine was to pile it up on both ends, then save a bunch of smaller pieces to cover the sand in between. It gives some of your territtorial fish more space to get situated, they have their own side of the tank. Instead of having 2 columns, try 3. One on both ends and a small one in the middle. It makes for lots of nooks and crannies.

that sound cool looking but i am looking for more of a long isand and oasis look i think i want to do a small corner island then along the back of the tank put rocks across the back stacked perrty high and before it reaches the small corner island make it turn out into the tank. i am trying to draw a picture to post on here but i have to go to my gf house in a few

I did something similar in my 180-gallon. You can kind of see it in my 180-build thread. But that is an old picture before I placed the coral. I need to put an updated picture on there.
