Here's what I've concluded recently:

1) not all Macro is fit for a display, even if advertised as such.
2) when macro dies it becomes mush
3) Chromis like to eat said mush
4) what a mess
5) sponges grow everywhere - found a black / blue one under my trumpet
6) Chromis likes his new home
7) you can easily lose a 1" fish in a 29 gallon tank
8) anglers are ninjas
9) I have the patience of an empty hospital ;)
10) I know need to research a better filter for a 10 gallon nano...

Here is my ever so feeble attempt at a marine planted nano / frag tank:

In case anyone is wondering - aside from the 10 seconds of adding sand yesterday - the entire scape / setup of the 10 gallon took me less then 5 minutes.

I actually think the planted area looks pretty cool, you don't see planted SW tanks too often.

I like it! It looks really pretty.

Thanks - I also picked up a CUC for the cube, and a toadstool for it too. I'm heading home now.

Great!

I agree, Toadstools are nice, the one that I have has noticeably grown in the past few months, and I really like it. :)

Here are some pics:

Don't mind the drip line in the BC, and sorry for blurry **** of CUC.

1st pic is mystery frags

Still doing great! Haven't added anymore coral yet as I've used up this months aquaria budget on the CUC, toadstool, and food.
Next month I'll go back to the LFS and get a bunch of ricordias as some more zoas - that's all that's going in this tank, well maybe a pulsing Xenia, but thats it.

Guess what showed up today? Diatoms!!!! Lol.

Update: didn't get pics, but Acan wasn't doing well, added the zoas from the 54 into the BC.

Everything else going well - one hermit didnt make it, but everyone else is still truckin'!

Pics.

Thanks guys... The diatoms are crazy, but not worried. Couple weeks I'll be adding a bunch more corals so it'll really fill in, then.

I'm pleased that the macro is doing well - I've gotta figure out how to "trim the chaeto"...
