it about time to change out my membrane but wondering ?
membrane=$75
di = $30
carbon = $16
sediment = $15

which adds up to $135 minus shipping !!

my thoughts are to buy a new unit off ebay and mabe just add a new sediment/carbon filter to my kent unit and run the two units together !! or am i better just to replace everything??
how can they sell new ones cheaper than the cost of the filters ?¿?

Same way they almost give away inkjet printers and charge you a ton on the ink. They dont make the money on the filter unit they make the money on you comming back for the consumables.

I would just replace the membranes on the old unit. of course you could get another RO unit and then have one wired inline for water makups and one inline for top offs. ;)

thanks fishfreek still not sure whats the best option ! prob just keep the kent hi-s running due to i paid over $250 for it uuuughhhhh
