I just got a male mandarine goby into my 30g well established reef and i obviously want to train him to eat frozen mysis. My plan is to first get him to spot feed on live brine shrimp if i can get him to not hide as soon as i reach into the tank. Then ill slowly introduce garlic soaked frozen brine and start using less live brine until he is fully on frozen brine. Then i will use the same method to switch over to frozen mysis.
Should i be trying to boost copepod population or will he be more tempted to eat frozen if there are less copepods?
