I noticed that my tree coral had lost a branch if you will.I was wondering if the detached piece, which I found , will survive. I don't know if it's reproducing or if something took it off like a shrimp or crab. Anyone know how they reproduce or if they re attach themselves to things?

Not sure, but you could try gluing it back on to a piece of rock, acting as if it were a frag. Only thing is, if you start to notice the base of the branch turning white.. then it's dying and probably has little chance of surviving. Just my experience with a brown birdsnest branch that somehow detached from the main frag.

Okay thankyou, it looks normal right now and closed up naturally when i moved it so im hoping he will do fin.
