Trying to get my powder blue to eat

Added a powder blue tang to my aquarium this week. My foxface eats off the veggie clip no problem with omega one red seaweed. I rubber banded some to a rock but the foxface is the only one eating it. Brine shrimp,emerald entree and Marine cuisine are the other things I feed he puts his nose up to everything. He picks at the rocks all day but won't take my food.can anyone give me some advise I don't want him starving to death.

Try live food. Bloodworms or blackworms from the LFS.

It's common for wild fish period. As soon as it gets used to eating with the rest of the crew, it should slowly move over to prepared foods.

Definitely common and happened with my PBT for the first week. Now eats like a pig and is faaaaaat!!! Lol
