liveaquaria.com lists this tube worm as very difficult to keep, but i have one thats doing great on my live rock from liverocks.com. its been there since i started my tank a month ago and made it through the cycling and everything just fine. do i have some other more easily maintained species?

There are different kinds of tube worms like feather dusters and ko ko worms. The small little tube worms in and on the rocks are very similar, just a bit different. Out of the ones I know, the ko ko worm is the hardest to keep. Beautiful though!!

Keep the tank parameters good and balanced and feed it. They like phytoplankton just like other feather type worms. They do like to bury their bodies (shells) in soft substrate or mud. I tried looking for more specific information but typing in "koko worm" in google will get you a bunch of websites about the computer virus variety...lol.
