tufa rock

Has anybody put tufa rock in their tank?
It's calcium based rock, but I just want to make sure that I'm not about to do something I will regret. I bought $70 worth of the rock because just by looking at it I was sure it was calcuim based. When I got home I poured vinegar on it just to check. There were lots of bubles and fizzing.
Anyhow, I just wanted to hear what everybody else thought.

I'm about to buy 90lbs of rock for my saltwater aquarium and the aquarium store near me suggested tufa. I think that if you bought it from an aquarium store is should be aquariums safe but if from a source out side the hobby it could have trace elements in it that could harm the tank. You could always give the store owner a call to ask.
