Turbo Twist

I just installed the Coral Life Turbo Twist 12x (36watt) UV Sterilizor on my tank. The problem is I dont see any light emitting from the unit. This unit does not have a window like other units so you can see the UV light working. My guess is that the way the unit is designed prevents you from seeing any light, since I know it is getting power since its small ballist is warm.

I tested the unit before I installed it with the cover off and the UV light came on just fine. Anyone else use these and notice the same thing?

I didn't think any unit would be without a small crevice to see the light on. Weird.

Is there a frosted plasitc piece on the bottom of the unit? Mine has this and I can see the glow in the dark.

Mine has a small plastic piece on the end oppisite the power cord that shines and lets you know it`s on.
