Turtle grass mess

I bought a couple of LR with Turtle Grass a month or so ago and it's just creating such a mess in my DT. I pretty much assumed that the grass will keep making this mess as shown in the photos and getting in everything and everywhere. The LR its on is nice and I plan to save at least that. Is there anything I can do to lessen the mess? Perhaps cut it down a bit? Does it seed other LR so I may get some new growth or should I just pull it out and toss it? Anyone have experience with this?

Just looks like hair algea to me. Prune as much as you can and try this battle plan.

Yes I see. I would not want any of that in my tank. LOL. Too much like hair algea.

I threw out that turtle weed. On the plus side I picked out of it about 30 green slugs! I placed them in the DT.
