Two Angels

Would you guys recommend putting a small blue-faced angel and a small passer angel in the same 220 gal tank if they were introduced at the same time?

I think that would be ok. That is a large tank so they should be fine. Someone else might want to jump in here and correct me if i am wrong

It's risky IMO. They would probably be OK as juveniles, but as they grow they would more than likely fight. An Angel has to be the "boss" of the tank. 2 "bosses" would probably not do. One of them would get the tar kicked out of it.
I have a 210 with a single angel and I know from the way she treats non angel newbies, a second angel would be trouble.
I do by all mean encourage you to get one. I love my angel, she is the jewel of the tank!! You would not regret it!!

What about a pygmy angel, like a flame angel, would that work with a passer?

You should be fine with that. Different size, body style, etc.
