Type of algae?

I hae 2 types of algae i was wondering about. One is in the sand/gravel and seems to bind it together. When a hermit eats it there is always sand attached to it. The other is fuzzy and it is growing on the rocks and some equiptment. The tank is about 3-4 months old and has had no major algae problems before. TIA

What color is the first type on the sand? If it's brown then it diatoms, if it's a reddish color then it's cyanobacteria.

The second type seems to be hair algae.

In the sand is hard to explain it not diatoms or cyano. Its fuzzy and a greyish green. My lfs has these tiny hermits i was think of buying like 10 to help take care of it.
