unusual pair

Before we got the clowns all I had in my tank was a fire fish goby and a skunk cleaner shrimp. After adding the clowns my fire fish now buddies up with the shrimp. They both sleep behind the same rock.The shrimp stays on the side of the rock with the firefish just underneath him in a trench in the sand. The clowns are not aggresive but everytime they swim close to the firefish he retreats behind the shrimp.

Not sure what your question is as you didn't ask one...

How long has your clown been in the tank for? It may be that the firefish just hasn't gotten used to him. Give him time.

LOL, your firefish has delusions of being a shrimp goby, but has never seen a pistol shrimp

Mine does the exact same thing with the peppermint shrimp. He and 5 peppermint shrimp all hide behind the same rock. I think I spotted a small cooler back there.......
