I’ve noticed my bi-color blenny picking at the tips of my flower-pot coral. I’m not sure what to do about it, but I’m not ok with that kind of behavior in my tank. I may have to take him back to the local fish store and find something a little more reef-safe.

Some time this morning one of my clowns jumped out of the tank. I saw both clowns when I fed them at 9:00 this morning, so it had to be some time after that. And since I work from home, and have my tank in my home office, I was here when it happened. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear it happen, so by the time I noticed that he wasn’t in the tank and found him, he was already crispy and dead. :(

Sorry to hear about your clown. :-( I;ve had about 4 jump so far and I've only caught it once in time. I'm now working on mesh lids for my tanks, until then no more clowns for me.

Lost my other clown today. Jumped. Found him dried up on the carpet (he got impressive distance). I will definitely be figuring out a top before I get any more clowns, but once I do, I want to have a pair again.

I also replaced my t5 bulbs today with some much bluer ones and the tank looks great. I'll get an update with pics on here as soon as possible.

The new bulbs give the tank a nice blue look, and make the fish and corals look really nice.
