A lot will say to rinse and reuse, but for the cost of sand I have always stated with new with a cup or 2 to seed. As far as reusing the water, it doesn't carry any beneficial bacteria. But it may carry other things you dont want. I always start new on an upgrade. Dont forget to cycle.

What do u mean cycle I have to wait 4 weeks and cycle all over again.

it may not take 4 weeks, assuming you are reusing the old LR. You most likly will have a mini cycle. You are going to stir up a lot of crud when you put in the established LR. My last upgrade took less than a week. Depends on how much old LR you are going to use. Also if you are adding more LR, now is the time to do it.

Just adding some base rock with my other live rock is it gonna be ok to put my fish and nems in

You will have a small cycle, the nem will not tolerate a cycle at all. Best to wait and see if you are going to get a small cycle. When I did my last 2 upgrades I got a small kiddy pool and put everything in it, the 3 nems that were attached to LR, I just put the LR and them in together. Then move everything over and test for 4 or 5 days. Throw in a small air pump and a power head or two. I buried mine under some LR so if the nem went wondering he wouldn't get sucked into it. Then add stuff back slowly over a couple of days. 2 upgrades and I never lost anything. :)

Cool thanks for the help what about temporary lighting do I need it

Here's some pics everything is doing well chem is good.
