urchins

hi all,i have a black spiny urchin and have had it for a while,now last night a strange thing happend my water was starting to go slightly cloudy so i had a closer look and found that there was a creamy white substance secreating from four points surrounding the urchins bottom [that bit that looks like an eye]can any one shed some light on the matter?

Sounds like it was spawning. In a 60 gal tank with a skimmer running, you should have no worries.
