using deltec apf600 skimmer?

hi, i have had the skimmer set-up and running now for a few days properly, and it was set-up from the instructions and they say that you should set it up and turn the air valve to 2 oclock, and the skimmer should have air bubbles half way up the tube towards the dispenser so i set it at this level, but if i have it at this level the skimmate wont get to the tube? or will it work its way to the tube? or how should i set it up, how far up the tube should the bubbles go?

sorry but the instructiions are s**t!

you want to set it to where the bubbles are coming into the skimmer cup but only as a dry foam. If the foam is too wet youll fill your cup with more water than detritus etc. Id have to look at the skimmer you have and see but usually you want a dry foam coming into the cup.
