I was wondering if using a bag of Purigen and CPE in a small HoB might be doable?

I know people run them together in other scenarios but they would be touching each other in my case.

Would this make a difference?

I've also considered just skipping CPE when I run out and going straight to CPB.

Anyone tried it yet?

I run these two together all the time. If you have a HOB and want to put them in, go for it. They are great products. Better results from a canister filter, but do what you can. A HOB filter will do just fine.

Have you ever thought about trying Blue?

I've been reading up on it and from what I've gathered so far it's just Elite but with some Purigen mixed in..

Don't know what to make of that....
