UV Pointers?

I just a got today from my friend (coralife) and was wondering if their are any pointers to using UV. Do I run it 24/7 and is the water supposed to pour out fast? The water on my phos reactor comes out a lot slower and im using the same ph and flow rate (100 GP/h) on the both of them. Any other suggestions please? TIA........

I run mine 24/7 but I`ve heard other that run it just days a week.

Hi all,

This is my first post here!

FWIW, I have a Coralife Turbo Twist as well. I run it through a Fluval. Supposedly it is better to filter the water before you run it through the UV. The slower you run it the more time the water has to get sterilzed. I run it at middle of the scale that they recommend in the instructions.
