Hi all,

So I've discovred a Vermetid gastropod beside one of my finger leathers. It's creating a yucky mucus web all in the are and I believe it's irritating the coral.

As far as I can tell, it's INSIDE the rock, with only its antennae tips exposed. How do I remove it?

Also - is it safe to use a 300w Aquaclear (70gal) heater in a 20 gallon tank?

You might have to take the rock out and do a FW dip maybe to get him out. Maybe even leave it in FW for a few days.

It's in the same rock as the coral, only about 1cm from its base. I never noticed it before and it never made a mucus web. I was blowing some algae off the other day with a baster and thats when I first discovered its hole. Ever since it's been making those webs.
