Vodka Method???

i was reading a article today about the vodka method for raising ph and dropping NO3 and PO4. has anybody done this and what was the proper dosage of vodka per gallon?

I started a thread about this a few weeks ago...
Never tried it but google search showed that it will increase alkalinity and lower nitrates. Dunno, but pwc sounds safer to me

Ya I don't plan on stopping my weekly pwc. But after reading this I was very curious about this idea and just wanted to know if anybody have done this before and if it really worked. It sounds crazy to me I would feel like I'm giving my fish a drinking problem lol

Vodka can also be used to euthanize fish. Not so sure I'd want it in my tank.
