i am wanting to purchase a new protein skimmer but i have limited space under my tank ( exactly 21" ). i was wandering if anyone knows of a good insump that will fit or what is my best bet for a hang on . i found a seaclone 150 hangon at big als . i was really wanting the kent te but it will not fit .

the aqua c remora is a good hob. i would suggest this first for a hob. there are also a few aqua c in sump modles including the Urchin wich is the same as the remora but in sump. cpr also sells good skimmers (the bak pak hob) and sells some insump to.

I have a fairly small sump, but I bought a ETSS Evolution 500 (www.superskimmer.com) and is rated one of the best protein skimmers around. It's a little tall, but the footprint is only 7" and it can pump to 500 gallons an hour. I had a Berlin and it was crap compared to this thing....
