Waste on my sand bed help!!!

On my sand bed I have what looks like fish waste it keeps appearing and I have tried to use the tank vacuum but nothing any ideas ??

Get a clean up crew. That`s their job. Snails, crabs, shrimp, sand sifting gobies. Pick up some janitors for your tank.

Thanks what kind of crabs and shrimp would you recommend because I have quite a few fish :S

My first pick would be some of these if you have a sand bed and not a crushed coral substrate.

Yeah I like those guys... They eat everythng in site.. I have about 10 of them..

However I have had many snails all of them die or do not move why is this ?

Are you properly acclimating them to your water?
