Hey everyone.

Quick question. The surface of the water in my nano tank gets a build up of 'stuff' on it which I occasionally skim off.

I can only describe it as looking a little dirty and when skimmed it looks a brown colour.

Any ideas?

It`s a protien sheen. If you can point a PH slightly up to the surface it will break it up. Also I`ve heard that putting a paper towel on it and quickly getting it up will remove it.
