Water change? What schedule do you recommend?

10 % every week, vs. 20 % every other week. Which do you think would be better, and why?

I'm for weekly water changes. Better for the tank and fish in the end, why wait 2 weeks to export out the nitrates? Unless you are talking about a LARGE tank, over 100g then I would stick to at least 10% a week. In larger tanks I tend to go every two weeks only cause of the work involved, but I also do like 40g every 2 weeks in my 125g so I think that helps. lol

IMO weekly is definitely the way to go.
I do 15g a week in my 180.

Thanks for the input, I have a 65 hex running for 5 years, and three twenty s linked together running for almost a year. Do you think 5 gallons for each set up would be sufficient , weekly ?

I would think that would be fine.

I do a 35-40g pwc weekly for my 150. I have a big bioload though, so its needed. I also vodka dose to keep nitrates down.
