Yep, do an extra cleaning out of the canister and you should drop those trates.

It's an extra hassle using one with SW but I've found the results to be good and the estra cleaning not so much of a hassle with a fluval since it comes apart so easily.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.
