Water Evaporation

I spoke to the LFS guy and he said don't replace the evaporated water with more salt water...because the water that is evaporating is the fresh...is this true? Should I only be replaceing the evaporated water with fresh? or salt? or both?

True, only the water evaporates and not the salt. Replace with fresh water not salt.

Top off should be with fresh water, preferably RODI. If keep adding a sw mix your SG would continute to rise. The salt and minerals do not evaporate.
